How we compare
Tools Battlefield is independent: no prices, no ads. The numbers come from the manufacturers' official sites, and the verdict comes from the numbers and the work you do.

Where the numbers come from
Every number comes from the manufacturer's official website or official manual, with a link to the source and the date it was checked. For some older models whose pages the maker has removed, the figures come from the user manual and are marked "From the user manual".
Unpublished numbers
If a maker does not publish a number, we write "not published" and do not guess it. That number is left out of the points.
Torque and tightening torque
We compare the highest figure the maker publishes for the tool: torque for drill drivers, tightening torque for impact drivers. The two numbers are never compared with each other.
Weight
We compare the bare-tool weight, because the weight with a battery depends on the pack size.
Classes
A tool is "Highest torque" if its torque reaches 100 Nm or more among drill drivers, or "Highest tightening torque" if its tightening torque reaches 200 Nm or more among impact drivers; anything below is "Compact".
Points
Each spec has a weight by how much it matters on the job, and its points are split between the two tools in proportion to their numbers, so a small difference gives a small gap. Some information is shown for reference only and carries no points. Winning on points does not mean a tool is the right one for your work.

Warranty
Warranty is shown for information only and carries no points. If the local agent publishes its length we show it; otherwise we write "check with the local agent".
Images
Most device photos come from the manufacturers' official websites. Brand names, logos and feature names such as ONE-KEY and TORQUE-SENSE belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products.

How are the points calculated?
